Review of Phantom Thread (2017) by Samantha J — 12 May 2018
I love both Daniel Day Lewis and PTA, but I fell like I want the feeling I had in the last 5 minutes to of been a good majority of the second half. The performances were pretty great across the board and the music had really put in me in a spell quite a few times.
This was just so slow burning for everything but those last 5 minutes. A big part of me thinks another viewing might be a bit more rewarding. If slow burn is your thing, I think you might like this movie quite a bit.
