Phantom Thread is a 2017 American period drama film written and directed by Paul Thomas Anderson.
The costumes, settings and designs are beautifully created in this period film. It is definitely a different style of direction, and the film progresses at a slow pace. I enjoyed moments, but with the main characters displaying very cold personalities, it was different for me to form a close relationship with them. Somehow there was something missing which left me feeling unsatisfied and a little confused.
