Review of Phantasm (1979) by Trent C — 01 May 2008
Doesn't make a lick of sense, but that's the point. It's supposed to be dreamlike and unreal. You know as much as the characters do and no more. It set up for one of the few series where most of the sequels are just as good as the first film.
.. and the sequels answer a few questions, but pose more... It's great.
