Review of Phantasm (1979) by Kyle E — 11 Jan 2009
My love of late 70's early 80's horror films has found yet another masterpiece, and that is in 1979's "Phantasm". Directed by Don Coscarelli, whose claim to fame would be this series and more recently, "Bubba Ho-Tep", Phantasm centers around a young boy named Michael whom is still getting over the loss of his parents.
When his older brothers friend dies, he sneaks up to the graveyard to see the funeral and notices some strange occurrences at the cemetery. That's all I really want to give away other than that I loved the crazy ending of this film too.
If your a fan of horror or anything close to it and you haven't seen this, do so immediately.
