Review of Phantasm (1979) by Jonathan P — 13 Feb 2009
Ok let's just cut to it, the acting was crap, the effects weren't very good and the production was less than decent, but for some reason this movie is still pretty good. First off the ideas and contraptions are amazing, there are some jumps and frightining moments that keep you on the edge of your seat.
It loses some more points though because of the lack of an explanation to all the weird and creepy events and people. Though at the same time the lack of explenation is kinf of unique and keeps you intruiged.
