Review of Phantasm (1979) by Ifiok O — 22 May 2010
It's definitely a pretty creepy movie, when you consider what's out to get our main characters include killer spheres, zombified dwarfs, and a Tall Man that is embodiment of death itself. Admittedly, there really isn't anything in the area of characterization or clarification of events, but the film is pretty scary with its atmosphere, and the score is hauntingly beautiful.
It's definitely one of the most iconic horror movies of all time, and one that has both science fiction and terror elements.
