Review of Phantasm (1979) by Randy M — 30 Jul 2011
This review might be a little unfair, because it took me about for hours to watch an 88 minute movie, so it was hard for me to get into the movie that much when I'm pausing it every two minutes. And I'm completely aware that it is my own fault, so I may have probably liked the movie more if I had seen it all the way through without pausing as much as I did.
But I thought the movie was good regardless. It's unique for its time and has some spooky moments. It doesn't rely on gore that much, with the exception of two scenes and I always think that's good.
Good horror movie, if nothing else.
