Yet another remake nobody asked for that does nothing to improve upon the original. If anything, they took away 80% of the antagonists from the original along with half of the conflict. Solid acting, cinematography, and effects can't save a boring trope-fest of a script.

I felt little to nothing for the characters, including the cute puppy dog dragon. Skip this film. If you want Pete's Dragon, watch the original... if you want a BETTER Pete's Dragon, watch How to Train Your Dragon.
