This should have been call "Elliot's Tale: a story inspired by Pete's Dragon" The original was definitely off-center and for kids - all three of mine loved it. This one, is slow and Pete is not so funny, and its more like the Jungle book ( with a dragon instead of a Bear) or Tarzan 9 with a dragon instead of Apes) etc.
Disappointing. Sort of boring, and did not keep my grandchildren watching ..they even needed multiple bathroom breaks.
