Review of Peter & the Wolf (2006) by Todd B — 27 Feb 2010

This is a truly impressive movie. There is not a word of dialog in the whole film, which I barely noticed. Evidently this stop motion film won an academy award and it completely deserves it. This film is stunning to watch.

I have never seen stop motion look so beautiful before. The movie also doesn't hold back from delivering an accurate version of the book. I found this movie refreshing. I have really loved this story since child hood and felt that this movie provides the audience with a fresh look at an old story and was entirely original.
