Review of Peter & the Wolf (2006) by Lilianetty L — 17 Dec 2011
I was amazed by this silent movie. Yes, no lines people! I enjoy movies I can watch without reading subs or even hearing sounds, just music and maybe some good twists in it. Anyway, here is my short review.
Plot: I must admit I loved the animation, even how the kids and people look so real. It is set to Prokofiev's suite and is about Peter, who is a slight lad, solitary, locked out of the woods by his protective grandfather. His only friend is a duck, since in town, he's bullied. When a wolf menaces the duck, Peter bravely tries to tree the wolf. How it will end? I won't spoil more, so is up to you to see it and learn something from it, since the moral view is super fantastic. Stars for this new adaptation of a classic? Yep!
Music: I skip the voice acting, since like I said before, it is a silent film with a score in the background. Yes, the musicians did an amazing work putting some classic to rock on this lovely and wonderful film, so yes, I give them lot of stars for the effort made.
To end this reivew, 4 stars of 5. Enjoy and HASTA LA PROXIMA AMIGOS/AS! CHAO! BLESS YOU ALL AND MERRY CHRISTMAS! - December 17, 2011.
