Review of Personal Shopper (2016) by Ming Siu G — 26 Mar 2017
I'm really on the fence about this one. On the one hand, the constant shifts between tones feels really strange, and it all adds up to one weird movie that doesn't seem entirely sure what it's about.
On the other hand, Stewart is compulsively watchable here, and there are some really masterfully done sequences. Whatever it is, it's certainly interesting, at least for me, purely because of how bizarre it is.
