Review of Personal Effects (2006) by Edgar C — 28 Apr 2010
Well, even Mexican female directors suck at the business. But why? Since when did Mexico adopt the gorgeous sexual explicitness of Spanish cinema and turned it into a disgusting pop-culture source? Even the poster of the movie is distracting; it has practically nothing to do with the "plot". Unfunny when it uses "humor", forced when it tries to be sentimental, hilarious when it tries to be serious, this is a hell of a screenwriting and directing mess!
45/100.
