Its been said that cinema is the closest artists can get to recreating the experience of a dream. With this as an assumption, Persona is about as perfect as a film can be. Its frightening, reflexive, and beautiful.
As the romantics might have said, Bergman's Persona is Cinema Sublime. One of the best visions ever put on celluloid.
