Review of Persona (1966) by Michael G — 22 Jun 2011
It's difficult to judge this film because a director of Bergman's caliber is (and perhaps should be) indulged a certain pretentiousness. The film is a puzzle of conflicting and merging identities and is open to many interpretations.
I would describe this film as seminal and important rather than good.
