Review of Persepolis (2007) by Mara P — 22 Jan 2013
Very solid film about nationality, family, freedom, and personality. Well written, the script is full of witty moments of political satire as well as out-and-out comedy. Great characters populate the mostly black-and-white film and the brisk 95 minute run time never feels too long or too short.
Worth a viewing, even if you have to rent it, later.
