Review of Persepolis (2007) by Amirhosein2005 — 18 Jul 2021
Many consider this film anti-Iranian. But I think animation is very realistic. Because it shows the reaction of the counter-revolutionaries who, after the victory of the Islamic Revolution of 1976, become anxious and depressed people and imagine everything as dark.
The creators of this work portray the characteristics of a counter-revolutionary in the best possible way, which is really admirable. They narrate the film from the point of view of the counter-revolutionaries, and so their feelings can be understood.
