Review of Perrier's Bounty (2009) by Mary P — 04 Apr 2010
A great dark irish comedy. Boasting a top cast of British and Irish talent.
The local gangster is Perrier played to aplomb by Brendan Gleeson. Cillian Murphy plays the down on his luck Michael. He owes Perrier 1000â?¬ and with the help of his father (an entertaining Jim Broadbent) and his neighbour and eventual love interest Brenda goes on the run to find it.
This is funny, warm and dark for anyone that enjoyed In Bruges this is right up your street.
