Review of Perrier's Bounty (2009) by Ray P — 16 Feb 2011
A terrific cast of Irish/British actors makes what would have been an average crime film an interesting 90 minutes.
The bounty of the title is put on the head of a shiftless gambler played by Cillian Murphy. Perrier is Brendan Gleason and he and his horde will stop at nothing to nab the poor sad sack. A cast of colorful supporting characters --- Jim Broadbent as Murphy's father and Jodie Whittaker as the neighbor/love interest that got him into the mess with Perrier --- keep things moving along. Surprisingly violent at times and often filled with dark humor.
