Review of Perfume: The Story of a Murderer (2006) by Manny C — 24 Oct 2010
Talk about a movie drunk on its own artistic pretensions. Perfume, directed by Run Lola Run auteur Tom Tykwer, is so stylistic it threatens to drown out it's very interesting story, and 18th century murder mystery set in France.
And by that I mean, it does. Talk about a wasted opportunity.
