Review of Performance. (1970) by Amy Beth H — 26 Aug 2007
I watched this film for the sole purpose of seeing Mick Jagger in an acting role, and was very surprised to find an amazing film all around. Decadence at it's finest (or worst if you prefer), it's a fascinating film about who knows what.
It's completely original and innovative, Cammell and Roeg are definitely the inspiration for the Tarantinos and Guy Richies of the film world today. James Fox is brilliant, Anita Pallenberg is unforgettable, and the androgynous Mick Jagger is as captivating as always.
