Review of Perfect Creature (2007) by Dan S — 30 Oct 2007
Hmmmm. One of the worst movies I have ever seen in my life. Even the fact that its an alternative poverty stricken universe didn't prove to be all that appealing.
I like the allegory to the Church but the story really made absolutely no sense. Or perhaps it made all the sense in the World but I completely failed to recognise it. The ending was anti-climatic and the Kiwi guy who plays the partner cop was like some awful comedic take on the classic 'staunch American cop'.
I am just wondering what would make such great international actors take such a unoriginal and boring script??
The only interesting character would have to be Leo Gregory's 'evil brother' - don't ask I forgot his name - he might be the only one with something intelligent to say.
Awful awful movie. Scott and Gregory do make for attractive vampires though...
