Review of Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief (2010) by Dan H — 05 Feb 2013

This film needed another hour or 45 minutes. There was very little time for character development, cutting to the action early on, and making drastic changes from the book. But none-the-less, there are many moments you can't help but enjoy.

The acting is uneven, but the dialogue is strong most of the time, the special effects are quite good, and the plot is captivating. I look forward to the sequel eagerly.

As I said before, a longer duration would've helped . To understand it better, I suggest reading the book before watching the movie.
