Review of Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief (2010) by Joel H — 13 Nov 2018

There's a lot to like about Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, but unfortunately it all revolves around the main character, who isn't that compelling. Logan Lerman's performance comes across as wooden and it kept taking me out of the movie.

This is a good adaptation of a strong book series, it just came at the tail end of a stronger series of young adult fiction adaptations, so it feels like it's all been done before.
