While still an enjoyable film, the first installment of Percy Jackson & the Olympians trilogy does not represent the book series that it is based upon in a good way. if you haven't read the books, there is a chance that you will like this movie.
if you have read the books, then this movie will serve only to anger you with all of the changes that have been made in the movie.
