If you've read the books, don't watch this. The actors are way to old to play 12 yr olds and there are major plot lines are left out. Ares, the god of war, is not even in this movie. Even Rick Riordan, the author of the Percy Jackson books, dislikes them.
If you never read the books and you don't plan to, these are ok movies on there own. Just don't assume that you know the plot of Percy Jackson of you watch these. These aren't a cheap way to say you read the books because the details are far from accurate.
