When you see such a large difference between what the critics vs audience rate a movie (at this time 12 vs 74%) you can bet it's because 1. The movie has a Christian based theme or 2. The movie is not Politically Correct.
In this case it is not PÇ for a skinny housewife exacting revenge on a mostly Hispanic violent drug gang and corrupt police and judge on their payroll. I wish the main lead had a stronger physical presence to make the hand to hand combat action more believable but over all this was a very good "paint by the numbers action flick" that had the added benefit of better believable fight sequences and gun play than Jack Wick franchise.
As usual the mainstream critics can't get it right in regards to action movies.
