Worth 5 bucks to stream, for sure. No more outlandish than John Wick as far as the over the top violence and unrealistic damage Garner sustains. But maybe because the gangsters in Wick were Russian, not Mexican, it was more palatable to the grievance culture bottom feeders who review films.
Suddenly the "gun porn" is bad because it doesn't match their identity politics. But it was fine when Keanu, Damon, and Neeson were the heroes. Why? because Europeans were the bad guys? Maybe? Ignore these cosmopolitan elitists who refuse to acknowledge that Mexicans do indeed run drug cartels and they do worship Santa Muerte, as depicted in the film.
If you liked Wick you will likely enjoy Peppermint.
