Review of Penny Points to Paradise (1951) by Scott G — 13 May 2010
Harry secombe and spike milligan, team up for this fun film from the 40s, secombe is harry a footballs pools winner going along with his mate spike played by milligan, going to brighton for a bit of fun and getting involved wh ithe ladies, while a crook is after his money which he foolishly has brought along, ive never seen a harry secombe film before, and saw a lot in his humour here, I just may seek out the goons show now, also starring miligan, proper 40s british humour going on here, and certainly wont be to everyones taste, and nice to see peter sellers giving support with some nice touches also.
