Review of Peeping Tom (1960) by Darryl J — 01 Oct 2008
A truly creepy and disturbing film that shouldn't be considered "just a british psycho". This stands on it's own with a truly compelling lead character. The reveal as to why he is the way he is is really shocking and original.
Everything about him gave me the creeps. The worst is when he kisses the girl then right after kisses the lens of his camera.uguguhghguhgugh. I think I got more creeped out after I finished it and was thinking about what I just watched.
The guy is a seriously demented product of his upbringing. Did I mention there's a genuine and sort of charming romantic relationship in this, also?
