Review of Peeping Tom (1960) by Angel M — 13 Dec 2009
Admittedly all the subtleties, psychological and freudian underpinnings are a little obvious and shallow, but all the same this movie is very impressive. And even these missteps can be forgiven since it gives the movie a certain older aesthetic and doesn't hamper the rest of the film's vision so much.
I mean, what a take on cinema! The best filmmakers are all peeping toms, really.
