This movie has so much going for it. Paul Rubens (Pee Wee) put together a terrific script, it's hard to believe he's not really Pee Wee in real life. Tim Burton creates an otherworldly atmosphere giving the character of Pee Wee and the movie more depth and lots of great visual stimulation.
The soundtrack features Danny Elfman at his best.
