OK, so I have three grandparents who are WWII veterans, and I know everything about the war through them. In terms of historical accuracy, it is purely hollywood. Even the costumes were flawed in some areas.
I think it's the best portrayal of the planning and attack. Simply, it's a "fun" and "entertaining" movie. It's good but not great.
