Review of Peacock (2005) by Prithviraj P — 30 May 2010
Wow this went far beyond my expectations. Cillian Murphy is truly one of the better actors of our time and he pulls off this, dare I say, multiple personality, female/male, Norman Bates character beautifully.
The intrigue and suspense kept me theorizing about how the story would play out until the end and its always refreshing when a movie is unpredictable. Ellen Page wasn't anything special here but Sarandon was great.
I'd highly recommend the film if you like suspenseful, hitchcockian films with highly unusual characters.
