Having not read the book, I felt I was missing something of the plot for the first 30 minutes, but after just "going with the flow" I began to really enjoy watching the mental and physical challenges that come with rebuilding body and mind.
Nick Nolte gave an excellent performance and Amy Smart was terrifically non-irritating.
