Review of Peace, Love & Misunderstanding (2011) by Avid C — 14 Nov 2012
It's a feel good movie that wanted to be philosophical, but scenario weaknesses prevented that and just made it sappy. You're still going to be entertained and the story will surprise you simply because it doesn't hold the road very well.
The dialogs are good enough, but the acting is subpar, I blame the director, but again, it could be the scenario's fault. Jane Fonda is finally playing an older woman, but her character is too one dimensional and over done.
Not her fault. The only character that is sort of interesting is Zoe. The end is a bust. Worth seeing, but don't pay too much for it. Good thing it's short.
