Based off a pulp crime novel,The bleached colors really make it have that crime noir feel. Maria Bello is hot & fantastic. Porter(mel gibson) is the best anti hero role he's played since mad max & the road warrior (mad max 3 was so not mad max) Kris Kristofferson is awesome & evil as mr.
Bronson. ALSO if you want to see an alternate version pick up the Straight Up: The Director's Cut & the old movie "Point Black" starring lee marvin as "Walker" (the Porter character).
