Review of Pay It Forward (2000) by Iven S — 23 Oct 2013

Eh..... Besides having an interesting premise, 'Pay it Forward' is a little paper thin. Sure there are some interesting characters and good actors to play them it just seems a little on the "too convenient" side if you know what I mean.

Kevin Spacey is a fine actor but there is no chemistry with Helen Hunt in their scenes and its a shame because if there was, it probably would have had a bit more of a hit to it. Haley plays his character to the T and Jim Caviezel is right on the ball too but nothing can stop this movie getting a little too preachy and getting in the realm of melodrama.

Still had something worth saying and that's a lot to offer considering some of the stuff that is coming out today.
