It went well. It's a family film. The "racist atrocity" critiques I'd seen were all absurdly over the top. In fact, there's a scene early on when two guard cats tell themselves "their reason" for detesting dogs, which is a funny dig at how naive biases can be.
By no means a top-tier animated film, but it's not bad if you want to take your child to the movies and they've already seen the other big ones (Lightyear, Minions).
