Review of Pauline at the Beach (1983) by Matt M — 13 Jan 2013
The film could probably be described as an intellectual's soap opera. Rohmer's deliberately paced film manages to deeply explore the childishness of romance and sexual awakening through a simple plot with great character study and very compelling and ethical dialogue.
