One of, if not my all time favorite movie. George C. Scott is the MAN. And no one could act out Georgie Patton better in my opinion. Mr. Scott is so gruff and commanding, bearing such ferociousness and zeal.

Yet, he portrays it all with class and sophistication. As far as Patton is concerned, he was an epic person in life. He accomplished soo much, and if fate were different I believe he would have changed the way the world worked drasticaly.

That said, I think this movie is rather fitting of the man. Also, if you are interested in Patton or just history, the made for tv movie 'The Last Days of Patton' is a must have. It's not that action packed and draws on abit sometimes, but it realy gives a detailed view into the entirety of Patton's life and how he fealt towards people.

..what drives him...how he hid his weaknesses...and especialy what his plans for Europe, his hardened troops and many fanatical, supremely trained SS and Panzer Corp troops that pledged thier allegiance to him.
