Review of Patton (1970) by Alexander Z — 26 Jul 2014
The film is mostly remembered for Scott's outstanding performance, and while I understand that, it would be unfair to not recognize the brilliant screenplay and Schaffner's direction as well. The film never looses focus and justifies it's extensive running time by seriously examining Patton's character and his actions during the war.
