Review of Patton (1970) by Michael H — 08 Jun 2015
A very in depth look into one of the biggest American wwii generals (in stature, personality, and impact). The battle scenes seemed real and the lead actor performed very convincingly. Excellently executed cinematography, set design, costumes, and score.
Wow this film draws u in and does a terrific entertaining character study. I feel like this guy was a great general even if in person was ridiculous and annoying. Honestly his tactics and style seemed a bit ruthless, but hell did he get the job done and was more than happy to do so.
A very eccentric character who seemed difficult to deal with but a brave and smart general who stuck to his principles even if sometimes a bit misguided or about his own self.
