Review of Patton (1970) by Ryan F — 02 Nov 2017
Firstly, there is no way to overstate George C. Scott's amazing & incredible performance in this movie. He absolutely owns this role. That being said, I can't ignore the fact that Karl Malden gave a great performance as did the rest of the cast.
The movie itself is also equal to the performances given by the actors. Patton is a great movie that shows Patton as a war general and a man with all of his genius as well as his humanity and his flaws.
Absolutely one of the best (if not THE best) bio-pics ever made. The battle scenes are incredible and the character study is highly interesting. The near 3 hour run time never feels long.
