Review of Patton (1970) by Jeremy H — 28 Feb 2009
A terrific movie with a perfect performance from George C. Scott. Scott puts on one of my favorite performances in movie history. The movie doesnt have many battle sequences but I like that about the movie.
The movie is supposed to be about Patton not about the war. I like how at some points they make it so the audience begins to get past his harsh side and then Patton does something to mess it up and make the audience hate him again.
I especially like the opening scene where Patton gives that long speech.
