As a life long Massachuset, I thought this Wahlberg and the rest of the cast was very respectful of the events that happened between April 15th, 2013 and days following. On the Thursday following the bombings, I was at bible study and we were praying for the city and to catch the guys who hurt it. As one of our friends was dropping people off at their perspective homes, something told us to go a different way other than Vasser street, which was where the fire fight was between the terrorists and the police.

Then the next day, I tried to go to work and two ladies told me the transit system was shut down, and I had to stay at my apartment for 24 hours. Patriots Day is not only about Boston; Boston just happens to be the capital city of the 6th state, in the United States of America, one of over 200 countries in the world. This about how people respond to tragedy and the out pouring of love that people show.
