Another amazing strike for the director-star-pairing of Peter and Mark Wahlberg, though it's slow at times which slows the momentum and the tension of the film as it spends quite some time on one focus.
But for the first hour the pacing, the attention to even the most graphic and sheer sense of verisimilitude is all Paul Greengrass-level stuff. Overall Patriots Day is an exciting, action packed its a tense yet respectful ordeal of heroism and police justice.
