It's not bad, but you can tell there were too many cooks in the kitchen as its dialogue goes from natural to over the top, its tone from straightforward to commentary, and its villains from humanized to being tools to channel hatred through.
The performances are good and it's never boring, but too many storylines and characters are featured, making it all hard to digest.
