Peter Berg has definitely found his comfort zone and has developed a certain knack for the disaster genre. I can't exactly put my finger on what makes a Peter Berg movie so instantly recognisable, but I'm definitely a fan of what he does.
Despite having all the great hallmarks of a Peter Berg disaster film, Patriots Day is more of a police procedural than a classic disaster film. That being said, it's definitely no less riveting than his previous work. Peter, keep up the good work.
