Review of Patriots Day (2016) by Maxx D — 01 May 2017
It doesn't feel right to say that I 'enjoyed' this movie given its content but it's a very well put together piece, poignant and honourable with a pace that keeps you engaged. It's hard to know how much is true to life and how much has been 'MURICA!-ed but the movie plays out like an excellent thriller that brings you back to reality at the end, leaving you with a hurting heart, but a sense of peace.
A well crafted film, definitely worth your time.
